Do you require a deposit to enroll and are there any cancelation fees?

YES. To ensure we only have committed students enrolling in our programs, we do require a deposit and have cancellation fees as follow:​

Initial Deposit (part of total tuition

  1. Cancel within 24 hours of enrollment, $100 application fee -> non-refundable

  2. Cancel after 24 hours of enrollment, 50% of deposit -> non-refundable

  3. Cancel within 7 days of your scheduled Start Date, 100% of deposit -> non-refundable

What is the age requirement to start school?

​Manicurist Program:

- 14 years+

Esthetics Program:

- 18 years+ OR has a High School Diploma/GED

- must have a valid ID/Driver License + SSN/W7/Tax ID

must be able to Read & Write in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, or Russian to enroll

Do you accept financial aid/student loans/GI Bill?

NO. Though we currently do not accept financial aid/student loans/GI Bill, we do have payment plans to help pay for your tuition throughout the course of your program.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, ApplePay, CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle (some locations)

What is your student dress code?

Students MUST come to class in uniforms and school provided name tag. 
-Uniforms:

  • TOP: Black scrub top or school T-shirt

  • BOTTOM: Black scrub pants

  • Closed-Toe shoes

  • NO leggings, NO jeans, NO hats, NO sandals, NO heels, NO headwraps allowed

I don't speak English very well, can I still attend your program?

YES. At all of our schools, we strive to do our best to ensure ALL students are set up for success. Although our classes are mainly held in English and Vietnamese, we have had countless international students completed our programs, passed their exams, and are successful in their Nails/Esthetics careers.

  • Written exam - Students can choose English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, or Russian

  • Practical exam - English only. We practice weekly at school to ensure high passing rates

What is the deadline to register for the class?

​We enroll on a first-come first-reserve basis. To secure your spot in the class, you must put down your deposit and complete an application. Once a class is full, you will be placed in the next available class

What does the Student Starter Kit include?

Nails (Manicurist) Program

  • 1 school T-shirt

  • 2 Mannequin hands

  • Carrying box

  • 2 personal boxes

  • Basic Manicure/Pedicure supplies (nipper, pusher, clipper, French brush, color wheels, base coat, top coat)

  • Acrylic supplies (dappen dishes, supply tray, glue pack)

  • Scissors

  • Goggles

  • Book, Acrylic Brush (#14 or #16, no wood handle), Gloves and Masks

  • Electric drill, drill bits, Gel lamp, gel and polishes, art brushes, dip supplies, liquid and powder for personal use, and additional accessories

Esthetics (Skin Care) Program

  • 1 school T-shirt

  • Mannequin head (with neck and shoulders)

  • Carrying box

  • 2 personal boxes

  • Implements (various types of tweezers + scissors)

  • Makeup brushes

  • Skin script sample kits (retail & professional)

  • Soft wax

  • Lashes (strips, clusters and individuals)

  • 1 pair of synthetic brow

  • Lash lift and brow lamination set

  • Supply tray

  • Goggles

Does your school help prepare for testing and provide Practical Exam supplies?

YES. We will help you prepare for testing and assist with the registration process as well.

Tuition also covers ONE Practical exam fee + ONE Theory exam fee.

Practical Exam kit will be provided with a $100 deposit. Once you have successfully pass your exam and return the kit, your deposit will be fully refunded

What is the hybrid class schedule?

Due to the Hands-On nature of our programs, we now only offer Online Hours on occasions of School emergencies such as inclement weather or teachers availabilities at most of our locations. We believe being In-Class allows our students to receive the Best training and to ensure a higher probability of passing their board exams.

 

Starting 2/12/24, Charlotte (Nails Program) will begin to offer Night class with some Online availability.

**Per NC Board of Cosmetology, online hours are capped at 30% of total hours.

What if I fail my exams, practical or written?

Each candidate will be allowed 3 attempts to pass each exam. Each retest will require repayment. After 3 unsuccessful attempts for the Practical exam, the candidate will be required to attend more school hours to be eligible for retest

Can I schedule a tour?

ABSOLUTELY! We would love to show you our schools and answer any questions you may have. 

Appointments are preferred during office hours.

  • In school – Bring your Deposit, Driver License/ID and SSN during office hours

  • Online – Please call us for depositing instructions and complete an online application. Documents can be submitted at a later date.
